Garden in South England
Our customer Rajeev sent us through her ‘before and after’ snaps of her garden in south England. The project was sowed in late August and well established by late September as can be seen in her photographs. For her lawn seed, Rajeev used STEADFAST: Shade to combat the dappled areas under the trees and PERFORM: Tees to achieve a hardwearing lawn which can be mowed frequently. As you can see the driver of this lawn mower certainly is a dab hand.
Fertilising your lawn will promote healthy soil and produce deep green coloured grass that keeps weeds at bay. At The CleanCuts we offer a robust range of lawn fertilisers to feed your lawn in quick and slow release varieties
AFTERCARE: Continue to water your lawn deeply and daily for the next six weeks, avoiding if there is prolonged rainfall.
GENERAL TIP: To keep your lawn healthy, green and disease / weed free, remember to regularly fertilise.
The shape of your garden should naturally drive water away from the house with a shallow level slope. Any dips can allow water to pool in one spot can damage the grass and roots. It’s important that you try to prevent waterlogging in your garden.
Self-Repair: Rake the seed in after sowing so that the seed is in amongst the soil
CARE: Firm down by foot or by using a roller to improve seed to soil contact
